Students at Sacred Heart are engaged in the Religious Life of the School through daily class prayer, prayer when we gather for assembly or meet and greet, class and whole school liturgies and masses. Through social justice and formation activities, students learn the value of the Gospel of Jesus in their everyday lives. The power of Christian meditation and prayer to support us through struggles and triumphs is part of the students' lived experience at the school. School Masses such as Sacred Heart Feast Day and Ash Wednesday support significant events on the church calendar.
Our links with the Sandgate Brighton Parish strengthen our students' faith formation through our on going connections with our Parish Priest Father Ravi and the wider parish community.

The campfire has become a recontextualised image of the Sacred Heart for the students. The presence of the campfire reminds them of the safety, warmth and protection of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Students engage in creative responses to their learning in Religious Education.
These photos show our students living out the Religious Life of the School through the creation of class covenants and participation in Catholic Mission formation experiences, where they deepen their understanding of faith, community, justice and service—key expressions of our Catholic identity.
During our Catholic Education Week liturgy, representatives from SANDBAG and St Vincent de Paul spoke with students to launch out CEW Food Drive. The purpose of the food drive was for students to 'Shine their light, inspire other' in the service of others.
